I purchased 2 powdered iron cores from Marlin P Jones that are 1.5" ID- 2.5"
OD and 1" thick. How many turns of say # 26 ga magnet wire would make an
effective choke? Is # 26 the best wire or should I use a different guage? I
will probably be running a 12,000V xformer and at least 60ma.   Stephen
