Russell,
        Could you post here or send me personally what you
already have, transformer, cap, coil specs, etc....
Before you go the other route, lets see if we can find out
what is wrong. Building your own coil is tough sometimes
but when you get it working, there will be more sense
of satisfaction. I am willing to help you.
