Re: magnetic core >Subject: magnetic cor

Hi John, All,
Metglas is a material that comes in the form of
a tape or costom wound in a core, as I have read in
the literature. I believe that Magnetics Inc. has info
on the details. Generally it has a higher saturation flux density
and lower losses than ferrite up to 1 megahertz.
It is expensive.

What is metglas, a type of ferrite? Can you tell a little about it? Thanks
in advance.
