Kevin:

Thanks for the response to my question--sounds like you've been able to
latch onto some very interesting toys! I don't know what the going rate
is on a C5 but it sounds like you got some very handy stuff there. The
monster variac you mention sounds interesting too--wonder what the power
rating is on that one? Ah, let us know if you find anything else with a
broken caster.
Your shop sounds really nice--my situation is somewhat different. The
new coil I'm working on is presently in pieces in the basement. I'll be
assembling it in our garage during March and then one vehicle stays out
in the driveway--probably til fall. I roll the coils out into a
turn-around area in the drive to run them. A permanent area inside
would be really nice. Maybe it's time to move! I've got to wait until
about 3/4/97 for delivery on my new cap and then the last big item is
running the new power line out to the garage, I'm also planning on 100
amps. Got the wire and breaker, this weekend I'll be picking up the
conduit and other goodies and getting started on the new line. I hope
you get a chance to post some pictures of your system -- those 6"
Simpson meters also sound great!
