I am half owner of a kiln with a sculptor friend of mine.  I would be into 
producing custom insulators if someone can come up with a form to cast off of.  I 
can handle simple cylinders, but I do not have a lathe to turn custom shapes.  Most 
any existing hard form could be adapted.  An existing insulator could be copied as 
well, but I suspect that that may be a patent violation.  Are there any specific 
types of porcelain and glaze that are better suited for or made specifically for 
this application?  Fancy colors? :)
