Steve:
    Nice to see one more operational coil in the group.  Good job on your first attempt.  You might want to consider a trip to the local building supply store for the toroid construction effort.  I've used expanded aluminum air duct for the O.D. on two toroids with good luck.  The center disk has been made out of foam insulation that comes already covered in aluminum foil.  It easy to work with and light.  There is also aluminum tape for covering the duct tube to really smooth it out, all three materials can be found at Home Depot, Builders Square or that type of store.  Good Luck!
