I paid about 5 bucks for 6" (drain) pvc end caps.

[ Here's the rub -- I believe that the $40 PVC end caps are schedule 40.
The plumbing shop guys say stay away from sched 40, not so much because of
he cost of the pipe, but that the fittings will eat you alive (dollar
wise) The $5 end caps are for thin wall sewer and drain pipe. "Thin" is
about 3/16 to 1/4" though. -- Chip]
