Subject: Ignitors (what are they?)
Hi People, recently I walked into scrap metal yard [ouch!!] and found
it to be a gold mine of items for tesla work. I picked up a good length
of copper pipe for my spark gap, several transformers, 2, 5 inch fans
power pole insulators and a spool of wire. While I was there I noticed
2 boxes with some eletronic gadget in it, they are called Ignitors and I
was wondering ...What they are, What they are used for, and whether its
worth me buying them (i can get them for $15) They are approx. 3.5
inches in diameter and 4-5 inches long with a 1/2 inch braided lead at
one end.
Thanks to any who reply.
Matt.
