I am in the process of building a Richard Quick type gap or rather have
been
in the process for a few days.Drilling two holes in the tubing and
making
them line up even on both sides of the tube, even using a drill press
vise is
very hard. Im using 1" copper tube, 2" long. Im trying to gap them -at-
.030
equally but its tough. Im going to use some small heat sinks inside the
tube
and a fast blowing fan and I think it will remove a lot of the heat. Im
going
to build two of the gaps while Im at it and may use them together if it
will
work. They look like they are going to be pretty good gaps if I can get
a
good breeze going through them. Stephen Sanders
