What about the photo with the pendulum on the tower? As I understood it, he
was using the swing of the pendulum to introduce some additional waves on
top of his carrier wave. The 8 Hz was superimposed on his 150 MHz (?)
carrier wave. But I don't think he stripped the carrier wave off to get the
power. He just got everything. He could have decoded the signal and used
that information. Wonder if he played with voice transmissions? He knew
about voice over telegraph lines like from stuck relays, etc. I think that
where he got the idea of a carrier wave (possibly).
