Dan -
I wonder if you could use the electron gun as a mini-accelerator. I read
somewhere years ago that electron-gun tubes could be used to 'pump'
VanDeGraff generators...If you didn't use a whole lot of HV on the
second anode, the electrons would 'hang around', and induce (influence?)
a 'mirror' charge on the outer surface of the glass face. Hmmmm.
