They do exist, but not in distribution transformers. They are found in substations
that step the voltage from subtransmission voltages down to distribution voltages.
The transformers that I work with on the job are 69kv / 12.47kv units rated at 25
MVA. These have automatic tap changers, but I've never seen a distribution xformer
with such.
