Re: Plexiglass Form
Hi all
I work with Plexiglas a lot and we use Methylene Chloride to fuse
it together. We use a hypodermic needle to apply it. By the way if
you ever scratch plexiglas and want to make it clear again use Brasso
polish or chrome polish or Semi Chrome polish. Rub the surface with real
cotton soaked in brasso. If the scratches are really bad wet sand with
#600 paper then polish. Smaller pieces can be buffed crystal clear with
jewlers rouge and a rag wheel but don't over heat. This also works on
watch crystals, the plastic ones, which most are. With Brasso it takes
a little time but it works!
By the way I might be interested in doing small machining jobs or CAD
drawings for a fee if anyone is interested in getting any parts made of
brass, aluminum, stainless steel, coldrolled steel, copper, plexiglas,
and what ever you can think of. I work in machinable ceramics like
Macor and other exotic metals like inconel, monel, phosphor bronze,
and titaniam. I do not machine Plutonium however!!!!
E-mail me for a quote, I may be able to help you with your coil parts.
