Folk lore around here is that a styrofoam picnic jug
(not thermos) will hold 10 liters of liquid nitrogen all
weekend. If that is true, sure cheaper than a deward and a
lot less breakable. This came off the vacuum web page

I intend to give it a go when I get my vacuum systems back up
and running on the table which now has small TC. So far, haven't
found a convenient local source of LN2, which is rumored to cost
of the order of a dollar a liter.
