Note: I am using some here in drivers for automobile ignition coils. They work fine, but you have to remember that the forward voltage drop (turned on) may be more than that for regular bipolar transistors "turned on hard". Plus, the so-called latchup is inherent and you have to take it into account in your gate drive circuit. Useful gadgets, but not the end to all the designer's problems
