Transformer Info

Hello members of the list.

I just came accross a US-Navy HV transformer with the following details:

	Plate Transformer
	Type UX-7010D
	Pri. 115 V	400 ~	1phase
		Test 1780 Volts RMS
	Sec. 4880 V	0.09 A	1400 TV
	SUBMARINE SIGNAL CO., BOSTON, MASS.
	CONTRACT NXcc-26594

Its size is about 17cm on each side. it has 2 HV terminals and 4 (!) input
terminals.

Could anybody tell me if this is looks appropriate for the primary circuit
transformer of a TC. Should I use extra protection measures for it?

Thanks,
