Re: RF Chokes and turns
The permeability of any RF core material is usually
listed for low flux density. If you are going to wind chokes
for TC use you are going to need hundreds of turns at least to
avoid such high flux densities that the cores will saturate.
Look in any of the catalogs for ferrite toroids (Amidon, for
instance) for formulae for calculating flux density.
