Richard Quick is correct, Tesla never measured any Q's in Colorado. He
calculated them by DC resistance. Ugh! His Q's were in the thousands! Not
realistic at all. He even made some bad assumptions based on these
calculations which were way out in left field. We all make mistakes.
Tesla, master or not, made his share. Again, the bottom line is results,
and he seemed to be a master at getting them regardless of his seemingly
"pie in the sky" mathematical meanderings!
Real resonator dynamic Q's are most often well under 100 even in the best
systems. Primary Q's are abysmal! (under 10).
