Chad,
What kind of problems? They must be of the same voltage rating, input and
output. They can be of different current ratings. Connect the primaries in
parallel. Connect one of the high voltage terminals of each together. Now
connect a high voltage test wire to one of the other bushings on transformer
#1, plug them in and hold the test wire to the other bushing on transformer
#2. If they are phased correctly, you will see little if any spark and you
can connect them together in this configuration. If they are out of phase
you will draw an arc. If so, reverse the primary connections on one
transformer and try it again.
