A 10 kVa pole pig is not neccessarily 10000 volts. It means that the 
voltage times the amperage is 10000 watts/volt amps or 10 
kilowatt/kilovolt amps.

Suppose the pig was 10000 volts. To get 10 kVa this means you have 1 amp 
of current. If it was 20000 it would be .5 amp etc.
