Fellow coilers,
Powered up my Carter rotary motor for the first time this
evening. Running in a CCW rotation with a 20amp variac,
this motor is smooth and responds well to small changes
made with the variac. Though it is not important for our
use, I got it to idle down to about 30 rpm at 6volts where
it still ran smoothly. If anyone is looking for a good rotary
motor cheap (50 bucks USA) I give this one a thumbs up.
BTW, I am running with a bridge rectifier in the DC mode.
