Wire gauge formula

For what it's worth.
This is a handy formula to calculate wire gauge given the gauge number.

0.3248*exp(-0.1159*gauge)=wire diameter(inch)

This formula works for any gauge from (0 to 40) or larger although it was
only checked with the following table. Note for 00 gauge enter -1, for 000
enter -2 and 0000 -3.
