There is a company here in Murfreesboro TN that manufactures a product using 
large PVC pipe.  

They buy and stock 3 different sizes of pipe.

14" dia by 20' long 1/4" wall thickness

18" dia by 20' long 1/4" wall thickness

24" dia by 20' long 1/4" wall thickness

This would make a nice secondary coil.

If any wants the name and phone number of the company let me know and I will 
drive by there on my way home from work to see what the name of the place is.

I am planning to buy a 24" diameter pipe to make a large van degraff 
generator next summer.  Haven't figured out how to make a 6' dia dome for the 
top.

I check on the price of the 24" pipe and it was something like $240 for 20 
feet.
