	It doesn't take a very big coil to generate oxides o9f
of nitrogen?  Remember this from running a really small coil
(3" sparks, glass plate capacitor, very small neon) when I
was in junior high (circa 1940!).  One night we had science 
exhibits at school and my coil was banished to the science
teacher's office because of the gap noise.  After running
it for half an evening I got such a sore throat I had to
give up.  Diagnosis of teacher was "fixated nitrogen" and
I have been careful ever since.
