Definitely- if you run Fourier analysis of that kind of waveform you 
should be able to see why.  Now that I have some cad capability with 
Fourier analysis I might do that for my solid state coil.  It packs a 
wallop of 30hz (i.e. pulse rep rate) energy.  I think it definitely 
could be very dangerous since I get a jolt just from leakage when 
standing near the coil and touching ground.
