Malcom,
        I work in a large injection molding company. I talked with 
some of the people here and got quite a response. In fact, I got
3 Xerox'ed pages that deal specifically with the gluing and 
welding of Lexan!!! It is extremely informative and I was going
to type the pages here but Mavis Beacon and me never got along
to well :) There are many ways to glue and weld Lexan. If you
can give me a fax #, I will be more than happy to send you the
3 page info. I will be here today (4/12/96) until 1:15p.m.
