I want to try tuning with an AC amp meter in series with the secondary RF
ground but my meter is on order and not here yet.
This weekend I tried wrapping about 30 turns of wire around the 6 guage
ground wire (between the bottom of the secondary and ground) located about
30" from the base of the secondary. Then I connected those wires to my AC
volt meter. Even on the lowest scale, I got no reading at all. Is this
because of the frequency response of the meter? With many amps flowing in
the ground wire, I expected to be able to read a volt or two.
Thanks, Ed Sonderman
