Hey gang,

There is a very old mailing list specifically for lasers and related  
pulsed-power and high voltage devices. (old enough that it predates  
the web layer of the internet)

Recently it has become quite active again.  I'm on it, as are several  
of my real-life friends, and some pretty smart laser people are there.
