I have a mobile x-ray unit which has a transformer of about ?16kv and a dual
doubler arrangement to get the 100kVDC. I can understand using this
transformer (minus doublers) for Tesla coil stuff but I have never heard of
anyone running a full voltage x-ray transformer ?60kV AC+. Have you
actually done this? If so then details would be of great interest. Quenching
a spark that jumps 5 inches would be a challenge.
Thanks for the useful info on your site.
