I was watching an old Marx Bros movie, "Go West", and one of the special
features on the DVD was a short "period" piece with Dr. Harold Edgerton
titled "Quicker 'n a Wink". It wasn't too technical, but it showed all
sorts of things subjected to high-speed strobes and cameras - the fan
with the smoke was most impressive! The DVDs came in a boxed set, "The
Marx Brother's Collection", from a local warehouse store for $40 or so.
Very cool and very reasonable, at least if you're a Marx Bros fan, and a
little surprise stuck in to boot.
