Hi All
Many thanks to all those who replied on this.
Acetic acid is *not* what I want in this environment so I'll probably
use some sort of epoxy.
Gutter sealant was just a "lazy" idea because it's easy to use and I
always have it around. (My shed was built by some half-crazed person
who put the Tek-screws in the valleys of the corrugated iron - it takes
a lot of sealant to keep the rain out!)
Cheers
M
