Very nice web site.
Your 600 mm (24") dia. HV terminal will not produce 1,000,000 Volts. It
should hit 600 kV max. You need a terminal 1 meter in dia. to obtain 1
MEV --- this data from Dept. of Terrestial Magnetism, now called Bureau of
Standards, Washington, DC.
We use a 24 inch sphere and it hits approx 620 kV DC as measured on a
calibrated field mill generating voltmeter.
