This is the Potential Transformer used to power the coil in the photos. I had used a bank of neon transformers on this before. The PT is rated at 14400V primary, 120V secondary, 1500VA @ room temperature. I haven't any exact measurements yet but I estimate I was considerably overdrawing the PT ( probably by a factor of 5). I like the fact that it has no oil to mess with, and it is still insulated for 110kV. The PT is courtesy of H. Wahl.
