This is a wonderful shot of the output arcs, taken from inside our "crab trap" chicken-
wire faraday cage. The RCA digital camera was completely unaffected by the HVRF
fields, even though some RF was still measurable inside. Being inside the cage is an
incredible experience. For one, the multi-megavolt output arcs are blasting the cage right
in front of your face (ear protection an absolute must). When the coil decides to nail the
bottom of the cage, your clothes are shaken at 240 times per second (the RSG break-rate),
which feels very strange. And a hot, ozone-rich wind wafts by your body when the wind
comes from the right direction. This also feels very strange.
