I repeated my simulation of torid load capacitance verses the output
voltage of a two coil system as I described on an earlier post this
morning. This time I greatly improved the resolution and found a much more
fascinating result. Attached is a jpeg of the graph. The y-axis is in
megavolts and the x-axis is in picofarads. You can really see how critical
it is to adjust the load capacitance for any given system! One not of
caution on the graph. The x-axis is not to scale at the end and it rolls
off more gently than it appears.
