A while back, I made a topload for my SG-style tesla coil, using two pie pans, as it was all I could afford. I'm pretty sure if I could tune the system a little better, if I knew what the capacitance of my topload is (just threw one together, and it worked). If anyone could tell me how to figure the capacitance on this topload, I would be extremely grateful.
