This is  non sequitur. Thousands of compounds are made from methane monomers, (including the foundations of most life, not all of them are highly flammable.

"Lexan is polymerized natural gas" and "It burns really well" are sequential but not consequential.

Polycarbonate or Lexan is polymerized natural gas, so yes, it burns really
