I occasionally use a Rigol DS1102E. It is a nice basic little scope. While
not a traditional scope you may also consider a USB scope from Pico:

I've been meaning to check them out, I think I finally convinced the lab
supervisor here to get one since we are doing more PC interface stuff
lately...
