I think a lot of us out here are "lurking", not that the group has been abandoned. As for 
me personally, I suppose that I have kind of hit the ceiling of my involvement with Tesla
coil related things and don't really have much more constructive info to add to most of
the conversations on this list since the advent of DRSSTCs. I don't really have the mo-
tivation (or the $$) to "start all over again" at the beginning of the learning curve to make 
the move from SGTCs to the all electronic versions of our beloved lightning machines ;^) 
Now as the subject of pole pig or PT driven SGTC systems still pops up now and again, 
I sometimes will chime in here, as I do have some practical and emperical knowledge 
along this aspect of coiling that I feel can occasionally be a very minor, but never-the-less 
positive contribution to the vast knowledge pool of this list.
