each revolution is slightly irregular due to a very worn ball bearing.
Nevertheless is runs in synch, checked it with a strobe light.
To rotate the phase I can turn the disk some on the flange of the motor.

I've spent about 250 Euro on the whole assembly, that's including the
variac and copper wire,
so an array of 942C's is only interesting when given or stolen ;). I know
some people who know some people who might can get a hold on some Maxwell
caps instead.
