Re: [TCML] connecting tubes to make primary

I would assume not,

The aluminum tape in my experience does not make a good enough electrical contact to ensure good conductivity.

I recomend that you insert a smaller tube into the joint of where you want to connect them and then solder it as you would for water piping in a house.

Subject: [TCML] connecting tubes to make primary

Hello. I have two packages of 25ft flexible 1/4 inch copper tubing.
Is it wise to connect them together with aluminum tape to make the 50 feet of tubing that I need for my primary?
Are connections ok to have in a primary coil? Or should the wire be constant.
Thanks!
