I am probably going to be the sole voice is dissent on this, but although I did build the Terry Tuner at one time and found it to work exactly as expected, I consider that step to be redundant.

Instead, I use the expected tap setting as generated by design equatijons (such as those resulting from using Bart's JavaTC), and then do low power testing to fine tune the initial tap setting.

The tuner is pretty cool, and very ingenious in it's construction, but I just don't see a need for it given a ballpark idea of where the tap will go, and then progressing with low-power tuning.
