RE: [TCML] Coil V4 fail (additional)

Stephan,
Copies of the three images are here: I think you want the first one (I've
renamed them for some reason)

http://www.hvtesla.com/richie_missing/Image3.png

http://www.hvtesla.com/richie_missing/Image2.png

http://www.hvtesla.com/richie_missing/Image1.png

These are copies I made and kept for my info. They are Richie's copyright
image and not in any way connected with myself or my site, (in other words
I'm not claiming credit or trying to pinch his work)

Phil,
thank you, thats quite a very good link to Richies post about the resonant
charging design!
I have worked through it, but I can only find the first graph on his web
site where he takes the 82,5 Hz for the 371 BPS to achive PF of 0,85 in his
design example. I can not find the second graph mentioned, where he takes
the "0,64 factor" out? He writes:

"The graph here...

...shows what the real power output is as a fraction of the "ballasted VA"
for different rotary speeds. Notice that low speeds give almost the full
"ballasted VA" as real power, but higher speeds give progressively less real
power for the same ballast setting."
