Really...

You want Shell Diala AX or ExxonMobil Univolt.  Go to either Shell or 
ExxonMobil's websites and search around til you find the product 
(they're buried somewhere and it keeps changing, but google is your 
friend)..  Then, you'll almost have a link to "local distributor", you 
enter your zip code, and there you go.

In the Los Angeles area, for instance, L.T."Lee"Sawyer is a Shell 
distributor in Van Nuys.

You call them on the phone (their websites are typically really lame.. 
this isn't one of those order online sorts of thing) and ask them what a 
5 gallon pail of the stuff costs, and where you can pick it up.

Drive there, fork over the cash or check, get your bucket o'oil, and 
you're good to go.  Oil's gone up in price, so you might be paying 
$8/gallon or more (i.e that pail will be $50)..

You can also order a drum or tanker load of the stuff.
