Thanks Phil,

Interesting hesitation about the tab connection. I know it's connected 
to the unused pin 2 and likely the main die for dissipation. So yes, 
possible problems connecting them together (unless heat transfer 
insulators are used). But that gets to be a pain n the butt. I guess 
single heat-sinks could be used, but still a pain. However, it all 
depends on heating.
