Re: [TCML] Need a NY based electrical expert.

Hi guys,

I just wanted to say that it´s been interesting to follow the animated
discussions on this thread (which I'm sure some of you would be very happy
to see the end of!). Anyway, as Ed pointed out in his chivalrous defense of
me, I'm just an intern carrying out orders given from above and I don't have
any say in the decisions that are made nor have too much knowledge as to why
they are made.

I do know that they went with the kit option because they have to put
together a TC in the studio they have set up in Brooklyn, which is why they
weren´t able to take the crew to go and film the impressive coils that some
of you have. As for the Masters in EE, let´s face it, the world--especially
the world of TV--is full of dubious 'experts' that are trotted out every
time something needs to be sold to the public, whether it be entertainment,
pharmaceutical goods, what have you. So-called 'experts'--i.e., people with
degrees--are very often simply a means by which those in positions of power
cover their own asses.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this mailing list for
their interest in the subject and thanks for the many offers of help I
received from you. There have been some very kind, generous and helpful
people on this mailing list.

Thanks again, and I wish you all the best of luck in your coiling
endeavours!

Zoe.
