Re: [TCML] Ac transistor

Originally I was using two transistors one npn the other pnp and to switch between each for every current cycle; that was impractical. Now I am trying to make a single transistor with two gates, two sources and two drains. I am using semiconductors with charges chemically apposed to the current so both ways can be throttled I hope to make high voltage models If I am succesful, although I see that enough amperage and they won't meet a happy end

I am working on a alternating current transistor
for use in making really small tesla coils of high frequency. Has anyone
heard of a device that is similar?

Interesting - not many of us can make transistors! What characteristics do you expect to have?
