Re: [TCML] comment about new coilers

Hi Frank,

This is getting a little OT. I hear what your saying and I agree. I saw this as a simple concern and not something to get worked up over. This could have been a nice little discussion about Miles concern without all the stereotype analogies bordering flaming. If someone you've worked with had made the same comment, you would have likely read the comment as I did and changed your tone (not your disagreement, just the how you handle the disagreement). We would all do this.

I do agree that some good learning experiences might be missed in some cases (it's up to the individual). I don't agree that we should suppress our advice and knowledge (as I've stated over and over now).

So, enough of this. Let's get back to coiling.

Take care,
Bart

Bart,
Good you know Miles, we who do not and see his comments differently.
I guess those of us all failed advanced reading between the lines and mind reading. Not knowing Mile's and his comments soured me immediately and I had to respond. I worked around that type of attitude and when I was the boss, those folks were fired! A newbie would probably see it the same way., IE, spend money, blow things up and then we will help you, well some of us anyway.
