Microwave oven capacitors are cheap and plentiful on ebay.  Even if you must pay for international postage, they are still a good deal.

If you still feel the need to "roll your own" doubler cap using MMC caps, typical oven cap ratings are 2100WVAC (Working Volts AC) at approximately 1uF.
