Ask any electrical contractor.  Aluminum is commonly used for range and 
other large circuits.  #6 on up should be available as scrap in less 
than 30 foot pieces.  Utilities also use it for lines and drops, but it 
is a different type, and hard to form for us mortals.

What are you looking for?  Check your local salvage yard, also.
